Chartered Accountant. A. Wood & Co. Burslem. Unexpectedly on August 4th 2016, David aged 71 years. The loving partner of June, youngest brother of John and Joan and a loved and respected uncle. Remembered affectionately by all of June’s family, his colleagues and his many friends. David will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. A service to celebrate David’s life will take place at St. Mary’s Church, Mucklestone on Friday 2nd September, 2016 at 1.00pm, followed by interment in the Churchyard. Friends are invited to meet at the Church and afterwards to join the family at the White Lion, Knighton to “raise a glass to David”. No flowers please. Donations would be gratefully accepted for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Blurton for that purpose envelopes will be available on the day from the Funeral Directors who will be pleased to collect them on behalf of the family.
